Mr. & Mrs.

I don’t know what it is but I’ve been lacking inspiration at the moment. The hours spent in my scrap room this week were mostly spent on thinking of what stamps and colors combos to use. I hardly created anything. And when I did create something it was not to my satisfaction. Whenever I am in need for inspiration I check challenge blogs and one that I like a lot is A Passion for Papertrey.  It’s been a while since I played along with Aimes and Kate. The current challenge is to create a one layer card which was a perfect challenge for a wedding card I had to make. My friend Linda asked me to make a clean & simple wedding card. I cheated a bit on the challenge as it is not really a one layer card, but since I haven’t used any embellishments and only used stamps I think this card will do for the challenge. The card is pretty clean & simple, but I can tell you it took me quite some time to finish it. After three attempts I almost gave up on the stamping. The first time I stamped the frame it was not fully covered. The second time the stamped frame was damaged when I removed the post-it note to create a space for the sentiment. The third time I dropped my clear block on the white cardstock which left a black spot. Fortunately the fourth attempt went well.

Supplies: Cardstock: Core’dinations ColorCore, Papertrey Ink (Stamper’s Select White) | Stamps: Big & Bold Wishes, Take Note, Heart Prints | Ink: Papertrey Ink (Raspberry Fizz), Versafine (Onyx Black)

Take care, and until next time.
